Role Overview 

The Platform Coordinator is the operational backbone of Prosikshya. You will ensure smooth communication and follow-ups between students and tutors, maintain operational quality, and act as the first line of support for platform issues.

This role is ideal for individuals who:  

Take ownership seriously, communicate calmly and clearly, are highly responsible and disciplined, can work independently without supervision and are comfortable interacting with Nepalese and international students.

Core Responsibilities 

1. Student & Tutor Coordination

✓ Handle communication with Nepalese and international students and tutors

✓ Guide new users through platform processes, onboarding, and first interactions

✓ Maintain professional, clear, and timely communication across cultures and time zones

2. Platform Monitoring & Follow-Ups

✓ Track platform activity: profile completion, responses, bookings, and engagement

✓ Follow up with tutors and students who are inactive or delayed

✓ Ensure platform rules, processes, and quality standards are maintained

3. Support & Issue Resolution 

✓ Address basic platform queries efficiently

✓ Escalate technical, operational, or sensitive issues to the founder

✓ Maintain logs of recurring issues and provide suggestions for improvement

4. Records & Reporting

✓ Maintain accurate operational records of all follow-ups, communications, and resolutions

✓ Provide regular status reports to the founder or management

✓ Highlight risks, delays, or quality concerns proactively

5. Community Quality & Engagement

✓ Ensure platform trust and quality are upheld

✓ Encourage responsible and respectful behavior among students and tutors

✓ Support engagement initiatives to improve user retention and satisfaction

Required Skills & Qualities

✓ Excellent written and verbal communication in English

✓ Comfort dealing with Nepalese and international users

✓ Calm, patient, and professional attitude

✓ Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and organized

✓ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

✓ Basic technical skills: web platforms, email, chat tools, online forms

✓ High integrity and accountability

Academic Qualifications & Experience 

✓ Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field

✓ Academic transcripts or certificates must be provided

✓ Previous experience in education, tutoring platforms, customer support, coordination, or operations is a strong advantage (not mandatory)

Work Structure 

✓ Part-time role

✓ Flexible hours, may require occasional coordination across time zones

✓ Outcome-based work (not clock-based)
